The Upright Hero

The Supreme Escort Agency took on a major escort job: transporting the Moon-Drinking Saber, once wielded by the legendary Saber God Gu Kuang. The job was extremely dangerous, and the escort party was attacked along the way. One by one, the escorts were struck by the bandits' poisonous gas and collapsed. As the cargo was about to be taken, they could do nothing to stop it. At the critical moment, the renowned martial artist Bai Yulou happened to pass by. Always eager to right a wrong, he drew his blade and came to their aid, rescuing the escorts from danger, helping them recover the stolen cargo, and wiping out the bandits. But the matter didn't end there. Not long afterward, the agency was attacked a second time. This time, they weren't so lucky: every escort was killed, and the cargo was stolen. Since the escorts had all been killed with a single move, and Bai Yulou had been at the scene, the people of the martial world concluded that he was the true culprit behind the murders and robbery. Drawn into the case and branded a criminal, Bai Yulou found himself unable to explain the truth as everyone misunderstood him. To clear his name, he set out to hunt down the culprit. Only by uncovering the truth himself and bringing the real killer to justice could he prove his innocence. And so the story begins.
