My Files Were Deleted, and No One Remembers I'm a Cop!

After five years undercover, my files were erased, leaving me a ghost with no past.

The whole world forgot I was a police officer, including me.

Until I met him: Lin Zhuo.

A sharp-looking, promising star in the police force.

On a rooftop, he handed me a ledger that could bring the entire Hongxing gang down.

I asked, “Who are you, really?”

He smiled, but his eyes were colder than the night. “Someone who, like you, can’t turn back.”

We are mirrors of black and white, opposite ends of light and shadow. We are each other’s most hated enemy, and the only people in the world who can understand one another.

When the shots rang out and the net closed, we brushed past each other in equally cold handcuffs.

He whispered, “I’ll help you get your identity back. You... don’t forget me.”

In that moment, I suddenly understood: our story was only just beginning.
