Raising an Immortal Clan Since the Qin Dynasty

[Immortality + slow-paced farming + family cultivation + behind-the-scenes development + from the start in the Qin dynasty + an immortal clan for the ages]

I found a magical artifact in the Mausoleum of the First Emperor.

It's called the Heavenly Book of Clan Fortune, and it has a simple function:

A panel appears above every clan member, showing their spiritual root quality, talent level, fortune, and potential limit.

I can use the panels to decide whom to nurture and whom to abandon, who should marry whom, and who should go on an adventure or stay behind.

Simply put, I've become an HR manager in a world of cultivation.

The downside is that I have no spiritual roots of my own.

The upside is that I won't age or die.

I have all the time in the world to do one thing:

Start from scratch and turn an ordinary village into an immortal clan that will endure for three thousand years.

The forty refugees from the Qin dynasty are my first generation of clansmen.

Three thousand years later, their descendants have conquered the entire cultivation world.
