Monitoring the Myriad Worlds Chat Group: The Multiverse Toilet Universe

Kaguya, an engineering student, stayed up all night binge-watching Toilet Man VS Cameraman. After dying suddenly, he woke up as a Private-ranked Cameraman. The casualty rate was 67 percent, his only equipment was a basic laser rifle, and his enemies were an army of toilet men who could flush.

The good news: he was bound to a chat group connecting the Myriad Worlds. The bad news: the group was called “The Slacking Around Chat Group,” and its members included Saitama, the bald caped hero; Tony Stark, Iron Man; Patrick Star, who was always eating jellyfish; and Lu Xiucai, who constantly quoted, “As the Master once said...”

Starting with scavenged parts from the corner of the weapons depot, Kaguya built a sonic gun. Relying on his engineering know-how and his fellow chat group members’ cross-universe technical support, he rose from private to chief weapons scientist. He built the “Sentinel One” exoskeleton and the anti-void mech “Dawn.” In the subway tunnels, he met Jin, a Tuner who had been swallowed by the void but still carved the names of the fallen into a list.

“The void can erase a name, but it can’t erase the fact that someone remembers it.”

When the Toilet Man scientist opened a multiverse portal and void frequencies spread through the Myriad Worlds, the gates to fourteen parallel universes swung open all at once. Saitama asked if he could punch the void apart while fighting for discounted beef at the supermarket. Patrick Star and Luffy argued over whether octopus tentacles should be glazed with honey or soy sauce. Tony awkwardly took back his praise, then sent over blueprints for a new mech. And under the cold white lights of the lab in the early hours, Kaguya engraved the name of every fallen soldier onto the shells of their equipment.

This is the story of an engineering student using a wrench and a welding torch to fight his way through the multiverse. It is the story of making sure every hero can return home.
