The Phoenix Pendant

The Phoenix Pendant, Xiao Hongyu x Su Hejun, ruler-and-minister couple

Amid the bitter winter winds of the capital, the imperial bodyguard Su Hejun first appeared before Xiao Hongyu, ruler of the Great Jing.

From then on, it was like a grand dream, one that lasted twenty years.

A brilliant, gentle minister and a sovereign above all others joined hands, and the emperor’s love was always given without reservation. The little fox’s rise to power was smooth, because the tiger behind him was always eager to stand up for him.

Win or lose, their future uncertain, for twenty years they stood by each other through thick and thin, as sovereign and minister, husband and wife, united as one.

The Phoenix Pendant is the finest promise of all.
