The Pixiu Cub Wants to Get Rich, and the Nation Keeps Feeding Him

[Adorable child + mythical beast + everyone’s favorite + uplifting + metaphysics]

In the age of spiritual qi revival, the Special Administration Bureau takes in a filthy little Pixiu.

She has round cheeks and golden eyes. When she gets hungry, she rubs against Captain Lu Chenzhou’s leg. “Xiu-xiu’s hungry. Want shiny gold~”

She can swallow bad luck and bring good fortune, but she doesn’t understand what it means to truly care for someone.

That is, until Lu Chenzhou dotes on her like a daughter, movie star Jiang Xubai treats her as a lucky charm, and the whole country treasures her.

She becomes the entertainment industry’s top-tier star among adorable kids, and the nation’s officially certified mascot of good fortune. Wherever she goes, wealth and luck abound.

But only Lu Chenzhou knows that this little Pixiu, who only knows how to “eat money,” will even spit out all the fortune she’s stored up to protect him.

When she lies on a pile of gold bars and holds out a little gold nugget to him, Lu Chenzhou knows that this little mythical beast has finally given him a piece of her heart, too.

Later, she becomes China’s guardian mythical beast, cherished by the whole world. She’ll never have to worry about going hungry again~
