The Mystic Ghost Queen: Conquering the Entertainment World with a Spirit Spring Space

Metaphysics + entertainment industry + livestreaming + feel-good power fantasy + spiritual spring space + power couple + sweet romance

After ruling the underworld for a thousand years, Ghost Queen Su Qingyan is “exiled” to the human world by a joint decree from the Ten Kings of Hell, and told to take a long vacation because the underworld is suffering from a “ghost population explosion.”

When she opens her eyes, she has become a minor celebrity so widely hated online that she was forced to quit the industry. From the start, she is embroiled in a “mistress scandal” and gets dropped by her agency.

Yawning, Su Qingyan looks at the perverted ghost trembling in the corner and casually starts a livestream about her retirement: “I’m not singing or dancing. I’ll just catch a ghost live for you.”

Her haters across the internet: ? Has she lost it?

The next second, she points a slender finger. “The one under the new Best Actor’s bed: you traded someone’s life for that trophy. Can you really sleep soundly while hugging it?”

The whole internet erupts!

Hoping to enjoy her “vacation” in peace, she sets her sights on Mo Tingzhou, a Violet Emperor Star immune to evil and dreaded by ghosts, and quite contentedly becomes his “human-shaped accessory.”

From then on, the entertainment industry takes a bizarre turn.

On a deserted-island variety show, everyone else struggles to survive while she vacations, and little ghosts line up to bring her fruit.

On a horror movie set, everyone else relies on special effects. Real ghosts stand behind her, and she wins Best Actress for playing the Ghost Queen.

The potted plants she waters with spiritual spring water become priceless medicines, while a casual piece of advice she gives in her livestream becomes a guiding principle for countless big shots.

Just as everyone assumes she is a master of metaphysics, Mo Tingzhou corners her against a wall, his phoenix eyes deep and unreadable. “Who are you, really?”

Su Qingyan smiles lazily. “Just a retired old-timer on vacation in the human world…”
