A Hundred Million a Day, But I Can Only Spend It in the University District?

[Tycoon-style development] [Campus life] [Turning anxiety on its head] [No heroine] [Power fantasy]

Chen Fan, 22, was a recent graduate. After failing his postgraduate entrance exam, getting laid off, and being cheated on by his gold-digging girlfriend, he was crouched in an alley behind the street, gnawing on a three-yuan steamed bun, when he unexpectedly bound himself to the [University Town Spending Money System]!

The university town had ten universities and a total population of 250,000. Each person received a daily allowance of 400 yuan, adding up to at least a hundred million yuan a day. But the restrictions were utterly bizarre: the money could only be spent within the university town's red line, and if he failed to spend every last cent, he'd be electrocuted!

While other tycoons bought luxury cars and supercars, Chen Fan bought the Starbucks where his ex-girlfriend worked and fired the rich second-generation manager on the spot. While other tycoons sent streamers virtual rockets, Chen Fan installed air conditioning in every dorm, built a top-tier library, and took over the third cafeteria! He went from solving students' basic needs to pouring tens of billions into student startups, then bringing in top academics to build the world's leading university town…

When Tsinghua and Peking University started competing to recruit its students, the whole country was stunned: How had this non-elite university become even better than the Ivy League? Chen Fan sighed helplessly. “At first, I really just didn't want to get electrocuted!”
