After transmigrating into a gender-swapped Water Margin, he finds himself a condemned prisoner on Liangshan from the start, with a blade at his throat. But instead of a gang of rough men, he sees 108 peerlessly beautiful female generals: the icy Lin Su holding a knife to his throat, the black lotus Song Jin smiling with a blade hidden in her words, the scheming Wu Mengyue calculating every move with her feather fan, and the fiery warhorse Hu Sanniang provoking him in crimson armor.
At the moment of crisis, he awakens the Hundred Blossoms Star General Record, which lets him see the female generals' destined calamities, rewrite their fates, and recruit them. He saves Lin Su from a deadly snowstorm and gains his first female general, who follows at his side with her blade. He breaks Song Jin's old dream of surrendering to the court, and the black-lotus stronghold's leader serves him tea and hands over command. He outmaneuvers Wu Mengyue's elaborate schemes, drawing the shrewd strategist into his plans for the realm. He faces Hu Sanniang, the fiery warhorse of Dulonggang, and brings the red-armored female general into his ranks.
When rotten grain threatens the stronghold, he salvages it with a powder and saves the whole mountain. When the court offers amnesty, he tests the poisoned wine on a dog, then turns around and kills the imperial envoy. When Zhujiazhuang picks a fight, he sends the heavy-armored battalion down the mountain: the grain will be taken back, and so will the people. Cold-forged steel, black powder, cannons, the heavy-armored battalion, and the Crimson Imperial Army grow stronger at every turn, transforming Liangshan from a mountain stronghold into an iron fortress.
Accept the court's amnesty? No.
The emperor? I'll be the one.
The female generals? All my Hundred Blossoms Star Generals!
In this life, Li Yi will seize Liangshan, gather the Hundred Blossoms, destroy the Zhao Song dynasty, and establish Great Hua!
