[Dark fairy tale] [Mystery and puzzles] [Ensemble cast and bonds] [Mind games] [No System]
Lin Ye, a modern university history student, unexpectedly transmigrates to the brutal continent of Grimm, where he becomes a powerless “contractless one.” From the start, he is hunted by a cursed beast in the Black Forest. Drawing on his expertise in history and his ability to “perceive the truth,” he not only deciphers the Black Forest’s guiding runes in a life-or-death situation, but also sees through the deadly sacrificial contract behind Cinderella’s glass slipper and the soul-harvesting conspiracy behind Snow White’s magic mirror. As the fairy tales’ lovely façades are torn away, the secrets of the ancient gods’ downfall come to light. Only then does Lin Ye, with the blood of the Keepers of Secrets flowing through his veins, realize that his transmigration was no accident at all… When the Revisionists seek to restart the world, can he gather the ancient relics and foil the plot to destroy the continent?
