Western Fantasy: The Ancestor Is... Me?

A Western-fantasy-style myth of my own making, blending several mythologies, Eastern and Western magic academies, and Cthulhu Mythos elements. The pairing is with Yahweh, the God of Light. A massive war between the gods once broke out in the world. After the gods’ tireless efforts, the invading evil gods were finally driven away, and peace was restored. One day, Seraphina, a low-achieving angel, suddenly returned to the First Era and became her namesake’s ancestor: Sera, the Angel of War, a legendary figure in the First Era. Seraphina: I think I’m doomed. You mean I have to accomplish all those great deeds the Angel of War did in history? But I don’t know anything! I’m a terrible student! I don’t get any of the benefits of going back in time, seriously! Thrown in at the deep end, Seraphina had no choice but to jolt into action and fight tooth and nail to avoid changing history. But as she kept fighting... she realized she seemed to be sprinting in the opposite direction, turning into an evil god? Seraphina, horrified: No! How can the world have such a terrifying nightmare? Even more horrifying, she discovered that it wasn’t just the past, during the War of the Gods. Even now, after a long stretch of peace, evil gods seemed to be stirring, and another war was about to erupt! Seraphina rubbed her face, tears of bitter resignation streaming down her cheeks, and stepped up once more. I absolutely will not let you lot come and wreck everything again! “You’re amazing, Sera.” Seraphina glared at the God of Light beside her. “Just you wait. I’m not done settling things with you!” The God of Light: ... Fine. You’re my wife, so you’re always right.
