Northern Guangdong Folklore: Immune to Death, I Report It Under My Real Name

[Northern Guangdong Folk Customs + Rule-Based Horror + Immunity to Death + Fighting for Your Rights with Violence]

Welcome to the Nanling Abyss, home to the strangest folk customs of northern Guangdong: inhabited houses in barren hills, mountain spirits deep in the forests, roadside evil temples, and the Yao villages of Liannan.

If the living wander in by mistake, none will make it out alive!

Until a man with [Immunity to Forbidden Death] walked in, carrying a battered brass loudspeaker.

While everyone else fled from the eerie customs in a panic, Ji Han pulled out the Consumer Rights Protection Law.

A mountain spirit blocks the road and demands he identify it? Ji Han: “You look like a hundred-kilo solid-gold ingot. Hand yourself over to settle the debt!”

A roadside evil temple demands a human sacrifice? Ji Han: “An unlicensed backwoods shrine forcing people to pay? I’m shutting you down right here!”

The Yao village tosses out an embroidered ball to claim a life? Ji Han crushes it in his fist. “Forced marriage? I’ll blast your whole village to smithereens!”

This is a hard-core player’s overwhelming beatdown of the folk-custom black market in northern Guangdong!

[Mini-scene]

Old Ghost, Keeper of the Ancestral Hall, frantically sends warnings to every ghost online: “Listen up, colleagues! See that man with a complaint bell hanging from his waist? Whatever you do, don’t try to lecture him about folk customs!”

Yao Village Gu Witch: “What? Is he an expert in witchcraft?”

Old Ghost, Keeper of the Ancestral Hall, breaking down in tears: “He fights dirty! He stayed up all night checking our books and actually bankrupted our ancient house. Now he’s heading to your Yao village with a banner of commendation! Run!”
