The Apocalypse Commander Transmigrates to the 1970S and Rewrites a Tragic Ending

[Alternate-era setting + powerful protagonist + true and fake heiresses + golden finger + family-focused, no romance + patriotism + lighthearted healing] Xia Zhaoling, a commander in the apocalyptic world, transmigrates to a parallel world. She discovers that this backward world is actually the setting of an era novel she once read. She is the ill-fated cannon-fodder supporting character, in poor health and switched at birth with the heroine. Through the eyes of her counterpart in this parallel world, she learns that the story in the book is only a facade. In this particular era, her entire family meets a tragic end, not one of them escaping their fate. Even the heroine, the girl switched at birth, is mistreated all her life. Xia Zhaoling decides to rewrite these tragic endings and change the fates of those around her. But all she wants is to live a quiet, peaceful life. Why does everyone keep coming to her? To the heroine: “A strong female lead should focus on her career. Why get hung up on romance? Stay away from that scumbag!” To her father: “Dad, don’t worry. I’ll get you out of there, just like you get the poop out of the toilet!” To her enemies: “My occupational hazard is kicking in. I can’t stand seeing filthy things.” To the experts: “I really don’t know how! I’m just a bodyguard!” And in the end, huh? Xia Zhaoling says she was just protecting her family. How did she end up thriving again without even trying?
