Infinite-flow survival game / rule-based horror / travel through derivative worlds. Tone: dark suspense, extreme contrasts, self-interest.
Bai Yue, cold and indifferent, is dragged into a bizarre realm known as the Rule Game, where she awakens an absurd ability called “Rule Alteration” that only affects herself.
She can change only one character, and the change only applies to her, but adding or removing a single character can make all the difference.
In this survival game world, rules reign supreme. Breaking one means death.
While others fight like dogs and slice off their own flesh for a mouthful of rancid food at the Skinning Inn, Bai Yue lounges in a bone chair held up by an umbrella-wielding patchwork monster, savoring delicacies served on a silver platter by a faceless nun.
“The rules say that every day, I have to hand over a part of my body, or the monsters will kill me?”
Bai Yue chuckles and traces a finger through the air. “Let’s add the word ‘not.’” The monsters, unaware that the rule has changed, lunge at Bai Yue, only to be struck down by the rule’s backlash. They end up trembling at her feet, and even become her loyal “bodyguards.”
By adding or removing a single character, she can reverse the rules of life and death in an instant! Once the underlying logic has been rewritten, the monsters not only dare not touch her, they must worship her as a god to stay alive.
This is the story of an utterly self-serving black lotus who alters the rules and becomes the supreme ruler of an endless world.
“Since you set the rules, I’ll change them.”
