The Sky Screen Reveals All: I Impersonated the Langya Heir and Changed the Southern Liang Dynasty

In 547 AD, a troubled era looms, and the southern half of Jiangnan teeters on the brink of disaster.

Wang Yan transmigrates as the short-lived illegitimate son of the Langya Wang clan. In an age obsessed with family pedigree, he uses his superb acting skills to impersonate a deceased legitimate heir, treading carefully amid the great clans’ infighting.

Just as he is about to secure his position as heir, the sky suddenly splits open, and a sky screen descends, revealing the myriad dynasties!

The first scene shows the Hou Jing Rebellion three years in the future: the entire Wang clan slaughtered, and the legitimate heir roasted over a fire!

The second scene mercilessly exposes Wang Yan’s false identity, shaking the court and drawing the attention of every dynasty!

His clan wants him dead to purge the family; the emperor wants him dead to appease Heaven; the rebels want him dead to eliminate future trouble.

A dead end?

Wang Yan gives a cold laugh. Seeing Li Shimin’s astonished comment appear on the sky screen, he draws the long sword at his waist.

“Since Heaven has handed me the script, I’ll decide how it gets performed!”

From then on, an impostor son uses the sky screen as his playing field and emperors of every dynasty as his pieces, single-handedly turning the tide!

He destroys the Hou Jing rebellion, executes corrupt ministers, shatters the great clans, and unites the north and south!

When history has been completely rewritten and all of China is shouting “Long live the emperor,” everyone finally realizes:

To hell with being an impostor! He’s the true Son of Heaven!
