The Sky Screen Reveals the Fall of the Ming, and My Slacking Off Infuriates Zhu Yuanzhang

In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, the enemy is at the gates and the Ming dynasty stands on the brink of destruction! Despairing, the Chongzhen Emperor prepares to hang himself, and the fall of the capital seems inevitable. Just then, a sky screen spanning the myriad heavens abruptly blankets all ages and worlds, exposing the Ming dynasty’s tragic future: Chongzhen’s suicide at Coal Hill, the Crown Prince’s death for his country, and the fall of China as the Han people’s realm is trampled beneath foreign feet! The Ming dynasty’s founding emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang, appears across time. The scrolling comments erupt in fury, cursing so violently they seem ready to tear apart the Ming dynasty’s descendants with their bare hands! Meanwhile, the protagonist unexpectedly transmigrates as Crown Prince Zhu Cilang. Though his situation is hellish from the start, he awakens a System that makes him stronger the more he slacks off. While others frantically struggle to save the country, he just lies flat, lazing about and enjoying himself. Enemy forces surround the capital? He throws a barbecue in the Eastern Palace, drinks, and skips court. The court urges him to handle state affairs? He simply lies in bed and sleeps, refusing to bother. [Ding! Embrace a carefree, laid-back life and receive high-yield grain seeds and a hundred thousand elite cavalry!] [Ding! Ignore the court’s rat race and unlock complete military blueprints for flintlock rifles!] [Ding! Lie flat and waste your days, activating an ocean-going fleet to dominate the seas!] The Crown Prince acts like he’s given up on everything, making the Chongzhen Emperor cry with worry and driving Zhu Yuanzhang on the sky screen mad with rage. But no one expects the protagonist to grow stronger the more he slacks off. Li Zicheng’s forces are defeated and scattered, the Eight Banners of the Qing are crushed, and every internal conflict is quelled. In just a few short years, he turns the Ming dynasty from the brink of extinction into an empire where the sun never sets, all by lying flat! The emperors of every realm are left stunned. Zhu Yuanzhang changes his tune on the spot: “Grandson, just keep lying flat! Grandpa will take care of the empire for you!”
