The Ruins Frontier: Moon Soul Everlasting
A spin-off of The Ruins Frontier, featuring biographies of its supporting characters.
This story began with the sound of a blood-red maple bone flute in the Southern Wilderness and ended beneath the twin moons of Shu Mountain, shining over the land. We watched Yan grow from an innocent boy into a hero who protects all living beings, saw Xi transform from a wisp of affection into a complete soul, and journeyed alongside Bai Tu, A Bao, Cang Ming, Chu Kuangge, Li Mubai... through the most fervent chapters of their lives.
I once promised you a “grand, sweeping finale,” but in the end, I chose to leave the story open here, because the best ending is never a full stop, but an ellipsis. It means hope is still growing and the story is still going on. The characters we love will live even more wonderful lives in another time and place than we could ever imagine.
Thank you for staying with me until the end. If this story ever made your blood race, brought tears to your eyes, or gave you a little warmth in the middle of the night, then that is its entire reason for being.
May there be an undying bright moon in both our hearts, lighting the road ahead and watching over the way home.
It looks good, like a Chinese language book annotation!
