A-List Chinese Director: From the Start, I Marry Liu Xiaoli

[Director story] [Coming-of-age] [Showbiz] [Multiple heroines]

Officer Wang loves my money, and I love her looks. You can’t call it a crime just because two people in love can’t remember each other’s names.

We have to be reasonable here.

In 1992, the Dragon Kingdom welcomed the twin pillars of its film industry. The official big shot Third Master, nicknamed Vulture, ran China Film, and everyone in the underworld had to show him respect.

Fourth Master Han Kun was a world-class director. His works included The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Inception, The Three-Body Problem, and more. The industry regarded him as one of the twin pillars, and actresses flocked to him.

In his previous life, Han Kun graduated from a no-name college. Thanks to a stroke of incredible luck, he transmigrated to the blazing-hot year of 1992. There were brick phones, but no internet or short videos. Even the Tianya forum was still in the making. All they had were BBS forums.

From the start, he has a System that can only be activated by marrying Liu Xiaoli. He wants to become Blue Star’s ancestor and cultivate immortality.

How could someone who knows nothing make movies? No problem. The System gave him that very condition.

[Note: The System is mainly there to limit the development of the industry and keep things plausible. There won’t be any supernatural powers or pocket dimensions.]
