The Evil Coffin's Ancestress

A gloomy coffin made of locust wood, a wooden statue that conceals a soul, and a copy of the long-lost Book of Embroidered Souls.

A strange injustice from the Republican era: an embroiderer died unjustly, and her seven souls were sealed inside seven embroidered pieces, denied rebirth for all eternity.

Each time a wronged soul is guided to peace, a crack appears in the statue. Only when all seven cracks have formed will the truth emerge from the coffin.

But someone doesn’t want the truth to come out.

A coffin stirring with strange forces, a blood sacrifice in the ancestral hall, embroidered pieces that claim lives… The century-old curse of Guihuai Town has only just begun.

“Communing with spirits isn’t about summoning ghosts. It’s about helping the dead move on. But when it’s all over, who will help me?”
