Counterattack: A Hunting Ground Massacre

When the CompuNet Company's “Emerald Kiss” rains down over the night sky, neon-lit Times Square turns into a blood-soaked hell in an instant. This isn't the opening of a disaster. It's the moment a conspiracy is exposed.

My name is Zhang Jie, codename “White Wolf,” and I'm a member of the Cheetah Squad of the Human Alliance. We thought this was just an ordinary security assignment, until we watched our teammates twist and mutate in the emerald rain, and discovered that no distress signal could ever leave this city of death. Here, trust is a luxury, bullets are your ticket through, and every breath might carry deadly spores.

We are forced to venture deep into this dying metropolis: battling explosive zombies to the death in subway tunnels, dodging mutated aquatic monsters in the sewers, and finding horrifying experimental records in an abandoned research facility. The mysterious girl we rescue, Tina, seems to be the key to stopping the plague. The power flowing through her is related to the Emerald Serum, yet works against it.

But this is only the beginning. Dr. Z, lurking behind the scenes, is announcing to the whole world that this isn't a disaster, but “evolution.” As our companions mutate before our eyes and rescue helicopters crash overhead, we finally understand: surviving will take more than bullets. We must also shatter the lie called “salvation.”

This is a war between humanity and twisted evolution. The first shot has already been fired amid the ruins of a fallen neon city.
