After the Cancerous Mutation of the Previous Era, I Became a Civilizational Legacy

Toward the end of the Second Era, genius scientist Dmitri began researching artificial humans, until the Dmitri Prohibition was issued. The spread of whispers nearly wiped out the scientific talent of an entire civilization. Dmitri was placed under house arrest. The Third Era began. Humanity emerged from roughly two thousand years of darkness. After the confederation was founded, technology advanced rapidly, and the cancer of civilization once again set its sights on this fragile society. Yet everyone seemed to have forgotten Orpheus.
