From Ghostly Shadow to God of Ghosts: A Grim Reaper's Path to Power

I died.

Then the Underworld hired me. Position: trainee spirit constable.

My boss said there were nineteen ranks of ghosts, from the lowest, the Ghostly Shadow, to the highest, the Ghost Deity.

At my current strength, even a first-rank Ghostly Shadow is a tough opponent.

My boss also said that when I reach the nineteenth rank, the last soul I’ll have to reap will be my own.

At first, I thought this was just an ordinary job in the Underworld, until I discovered that

someone was secretly accelerating the maturation of ghosts and forcibly raising their ranks.

My master’s death wasn’t an accident. It was part of a vast conspiracy.

And my true identity is written on the last page of the Register of Underworld Ranks,

a page that’s been torn out.
