A Wanted Criminal Gets in the Car? Lock the Doors and Take Him to My Wife!

Zhou Yan has lived for 4.6 billion years. He’s bathed in magma and ridden a Tyrannosaurus rex.

Now all he wants is to lie low and take life easy, working as an utterly ordinary rideshare driver and doting on his detective wife, who can’t stand injustice.

But life just won’t leave him alone:

On his first day on the job, an S-rank fugitive gets in his car. Zhou Yan quietly locks the doors and floors it straight to his wife’s precinct. “Honey, come pick up your delivery. That case you’ve been dreaming of just landed!”

On his second day, an international criminal gets in. Zhou Yan knocks him out with one slap and wraps him up like a gift. “Honey, come claim your personal first-class merit award!”

The whole internet is stunned: “Are you two some kind of legendary hero couple? Did your rideshare car turn into a criminal-catching machine?!”

While everyone online is buzzing, Zhou Yan’s younger sister, a streamer, decides to prank him by livestreaming a tour of his room.

“Everyone, my brother is curing salted duck eggs with dinosaur eggs!”

“This junk sword he uses to hold down instant noodles is actually the legendary national treasure sword!”

The livestream explodes. Top experts in antiques, history professors, and the world’s richest people all show up at once, frantically competing to beg Zhou Yan to come out of retirement!

His aloof wife is dumbfounded. “Honey, weren’t you just an honest, dependable driver? Why are all the bigwigs in the world calling you their ancestor?”

Zhou Yan sighs. “Honey, let me explain. I really am just a peace-loving Didi driver...”
