[Doctor hero + catlike heroine + ten-year age gap]
[Refined, aloof, fatherly hero × spoiled, feisty, straightforward heroine]
Tangyuan was a kitten Han Li'an brought home.
She looked at the hand rubbing her belly: fair, slender, with sharply defined knuckles.
She had no idea that those hands had saved countless lives in the operating room.
All she knew was that their owner wouldn't let her eat dried fish!
She bit down, leaving a faint tooth mark on his finger.
Han Li'an angrily raised his hand, pretending he was going to hit her.
The kitten clutched the edge of the blanket, curled up against his thigh, and whimpered.
Han Li'an helplessly stroked her head.
“Little Tangyuan, it's not that I won't let you have dried fish. You're too fat and need to lose weight, or you'll get sick.”
The kitten's eyes widened, as if to say,
“So what if I get sick? You're a doctor. Isn't treating illnesses your job?”
But Han Li'an wasn't a veterinarian.
And the kitten had a terminal illness.

After Tangyuan died, Han Li'an looked like a completely different person.
Then the young patient he had diagnosed as being in a vegetative state, with zero chance of waking up, miraculously regained consciousness.
Only, she had lingering symptoms medicine couldn't explain:
Not only did she throw herself into his arms whenever she saw him, she also made a fuss about wanting to be his cat.
When Han Li'an was securing her IV line, she pouted and said something astonishing:
“Don't tie me up! I won't sneak any dried fish again, okay?”
Han Li'an nearly missed with the needle.

The doctors and nurses who admired Han Li'an eagerly waited to see her get rejected and put in her place.
Instead, they watched in utter disbelief as Han Li'an, contrary to his usual aloof demeanor, held her on the hospital bed.
“Good girl, don't be scared. Your owner is here.”
The author writes very delicately, with some stunning and meticulous writing details. The heroine is really super cute in the early stage, very cute, and I look forward to her cool look in the later stage. The plot is also unconventional. It feels a bit slow at the beginning but the plot design later is very clever. The male protagonist is not a hegemon in the traditional sense. He will face his own moral dilemma. He is very deep. His silence and gentleness towards the weak is also a point that pokes me. Although it may be redundant to be gentle to the female protagonist, but who knows that such a male protagonist with upright views and equal treatment of others is super poked at me.
Well written!!!! Everyone should read this novel. The hero's sister is really good and bad!!!
The character is very three-dimensional. Although he is kind, he also shows his sharp claws to bad guys.
Good luck with your interview tomorrow. Come on!
