The Retired Villain Storyteller

This is a high-martial-arts world overflowing with “protagonists.” Every sect mass-produces prodigious young talents, good-for-nothings who rise to greatness, and reborn avengers. By completing “fate missions,” they plunder the world’s fortune, causing it to drain away at an alarming rate and bringing the world to the brink of collapse.

The will of Heaven awakens and announces a new rule: whenever a protagonist’s “dark past” and “true scheming nature” are publicly exposed, their fortune is drastically weakened.
