The Imperial Tutor's Punishment

In his previous life, Zhao Zhen was a tyrant reviled by all.

He personally drove Gu Yanzhi, his teacher and the regent who held power over the entire court, to his death.

Only as he lay dying did he learn that the rebellion case had been a complete miscarriage of justice.

Reborn at sixteen, he returns to the rainy night when he first defied Gu Yanzhi.

The ruler’s rod is still raised in the air when the young emperor drops to his knees with a thud and clings tightly to the man’s waist.

“Master, beat me. As long as you don’t leave, punish me however you like.”

In this life, he wants neither the throne nor the realm. He only wants to atone for the remorse he never had the chance to voice.

But when he bares his heart, he discovers that Gu Yanzhi looks at him even more coldly than he did in his previous life.
