The Mind-Read Slacker Prince Puts on a Show Every Day to Beg for Cuddles

Changsun Yaoyue, the “Imperial Palace Inspector,” vows to repay the late consort’s kindness by reforming her son, the lazy Prince of Qin, Li Jun.

What she doesn’t know is that she’s gained the ability to hear Li Jun’s thoughts, and she has no idea that he’s bound to a bizarre System that makes him stronger the lazier he gets.

And so begins a highly unusual “reform” campaign:

When she splashes cold water on him to wake him from a drunken stupor, she hears: [Ah! My wife’s baptism of love! So refreshing! System, trade me for an eight-pack so she can get her fill of touching them tomorrow!]

When she scolds him for being a hopeless case, she hears: [Well said! Scold me some more! Ding! The System rewards you with peerless martial arts!]

Changsun Yaoyue is utterly bewildered. Which version of this drama-loving prince is the real him?

Li Jun, meanwhile, acts like she’s working him to the bone while secretly rejoicing. He uses his lazy persona as an excuse to cling to her shamelessly, while using the System’s rewards behind the scenes to quietly foil the Crown Prince’s every scheme. What begins as a story of discipline and bickering grows into a super-sweet romance full of political intrigue, overturning the court and bringing the two together as partners in arms.
