Reunited on a Night in Beijing

[Showbiz / Reunion After Years Apart / Rekindled Romance / Both Pure] When Wen Qiyue was in college, she dated a guy named Jiang Shiyan. He was handsome and considerate, just a little poor. But that was fine: Miss Wen had plenty of money. They were together for three years, until he was madly in love with her and she dumped him with a casual, “It was just for fun. I’m bored of you. You’re broke and not good enough for me.” Three years later, they meet again. Wen Qiyue has become the fake heiress of the Wen family, while the poor boy she once dated is now a powerful young master and her boss. A rising star, Wen Qiyue is trembling with fear. She expects him to retaliate cruelly by blacklisting her, but instead Jiang Shiyan gives her the best treatment and top-tier resources. When someone bullies her, he steps in to back her up. When an anti-fan attacks her, he argues with them all night. He tells her, “Money, status, influence, fame and fortune: whatever you want, I can give you.” Wen Qiyue is even more panicked. This isn’t how the script is supposed to go! Later, their romance from years ago is exposed. Everyone thinks Jiang Shiyan is planning the ultimate revenge, and Wen Qiyue thinks so too. He must be planning to get back together with her, then dump her mercilessly! But one night, the usually aloof and refined man holds her tight, his eyes red, and begs her humbly. “Baby, let’s get back together first. Do you really think I could bear to dump you? Please, I’ll be your dog. Play with me one more time.” Everyone waits to see Wen Qiyue make a fool of herself, only to watch her become a top-tier star and Mrs. Jiang. Later, an exclusive interview with Jiang Shiyan goes viral. On camera, he speaks passionately about his love. “She’s the best person in the world. My moon, my one and only, the love of my life.”
