The Misfortune Jinx with Lucky Carp: I Went Viral for My Bad Luck

Lin Xiaoli is universally recognized as the unluckiest person on the internet.

She gets attacked by pigeons while walking, falls into a hole on her way to an interview, and never gets chopsticks with her takeout.

She's so hopelessly unlucky that even fortune-tellers want to give her a refund.

But she has a secret: anyone who gets close to her inexplicably becomes lucky.

Her messy, slacker roommate gives the broken air conditioner a few random taps, and it starts working again.

Her sleepy roommate, who lies flat all day, makes some candy on a whim. A passerby secretly films it and uploads it, and it hits number one on the trending list.

Her clingy puppy-like little brother happens to say something during a livestream, and the livestream crashes.

Even the stingy old man who comes by every day for a free meal hands her an enamel mug on a whim. The thing hidden beneath it makes her landlord waive three months of rent on the spot.

At first, the whole family says, "That kid's way too unlucky. Keep your distance so you don't catch it."

Later, the whole family says, "Sis, please come to my room and take a fall. Just once."

The whole internet goes even crazier, lining up to be on the receiving end of her bad luck: "I'd let her step on me if it meant I could finally make it."

Lin Shuaishui just wants to give up and coast.

But she can't coast even a little.

Because the whole world wants to take her bad luck for themselves.
