The Gilded Statue

Overall, this book has a bold concept, extremely dense text, and is considered a dystopia. It cleverly explains the gender power relationship in reality as a "matriarchal society", using descriptions such as "betrothal money" and "archway" to sharply illustrate the absurdity of defining marriage, morality, and emotions. In addition, this book does not stop at simple gender opposition, but uses Chiyang's wanderer attitude of "not admitting his fault" and the other party's night watchman philosophy of "refuse to accept the memorial arch" to jointly point to a more essential issue: any "relationship" that can be used for calculations may become a cage, thereby locking people's hearts. The language is slightly cold, the images are superimposed, and among the contradictions, freedom is self-evident.

When maternal power becomes another lock, this book is not about the reversal of power, but the absurdity of power itself. Chiyang spent ten years in exile learning not to admit accounts. Accounts are locks and recognition is keys. She refused to start any life calculated by others. And he guarded the door day and night, not to wait for her, but to wait for someone worthy of breaking the precept. Two people who "don't want to be left behind by others", at four o'clock in the morning, try a relationship that doesn't have to be settled. Even if it is burnt, it will not be recognized, and even if it is lit, it is also locked. The so-called "trying all over the world" in the article is just that I finally found someone with whom I can "disown" together. The article is in-depth, and some paragraphs are short, but the narrative is full of tension and leaves room for room.

The current social setting is amazing! "The Betrothal Money" and "The Archway for Affection" describe the twisted sense of power and the situation of women in just a few sentences, and they have great staying power. I think this setting is particularly amazing to me, the author is great, come on

The setting is novel and a new world view of the wealthy family is built. The female protagonist returns after ten years of exile and picks up the resources abandoned by others to make a comeback. The male protagonist has been protecting himself for eight years and refuses to live up to his reputation. The two pull each other apart in the workplace game, and the atmosphere of the writing is delicate and deep. The game of career and fateful love blend together, tearing apart the various emotions of people under the gilded shell of power, and the writing style is high-end and durable.

I have never seen a plot like this before. It is unexpectedly good-looking. I would like to encourage the author to update more and look forward to the follow-up. [Laughing]

I am completely amazed by this book. The setting is novel and in-depth. The more I read, the more I read it. I really hope that the author can keep this pace and continue writing. I look forward to subsequent updates!

The story is told smoothly and is very close to real life. Although some details could be added appropriately, the flaws do not overshadow the flaws and it deserves five stars! !

Not bad, but the plot progress is a bit slow. The writing is still very good, worth watching
