Dongguan’s Most Haunted House: The Coffin Tower

At 138 Bada Road in Dongguan, amid the bustling city center, Donghao Plaza stands like an abandoned luxury coffin, gray and grim amid the glittering streets. No one has dared go near it for thirty years.

It was once the Goose Cage execution ground in the Qing dynasty, where countless wronged souls were buried, turning the site into a mass grave. In 1992, two developer brothers refused to believe in the supernatural and broke ground on a new plaza. From then on, the nightmare never ended: shadows lined up at the construction site, scaffolding collapsed for no reason, a female ghost watched from the parking garage, delivery workers went mad after receiving ghost money, people were inexplicably moved to the rooftop in their sleep, and doors and windows opened and shut on their own in the dead of night... The plaza opened in 1998 and closed with a crash in 2000. It failed to sell at all eight auctions. One developer died and the other went mad, while his brother-in-law suffered a mental breakdown. The entire building became a place everyone avoided mentioning.

Thirty years later, a down-and-out reporter comes to uncover the truth behind the murders of that year. A paranormal blogger risks everything for clicks, a feng shui heir is entrusted with dispelling the evil aura, and family members arrive hoping to unravel the mystery of their loved ones' deaths. Only after they enter the coffin building, sealed for decades, do they realize the wronged souls beneath it have never slept, and the horrors inside have never faded. The sins and resentment forcibly buried all those years ago are waiting for them to lift the coffin lid and plunge into endless darkness.

Prosperity confronts the sinister, and humanity struggles against evil spirits. Every step lands on bones, every night brings the dead demanding their lives. This coffin building, which has trapped countless souls, will make every intruder pay with their life for disturbing the dead all those years ago...
