Great Qin: The Transmigrator Gets Thrown in Jail

In the tenth year of King Zheng of Qin, in the Xianyang prison. Xu Shang sits with his back against the wall, eyes closed. He transmigrated to the Warring States period years ago. He was once a respected teacher in a farming village, but after sharing a few drinks with a Mohist retainer from the Marquis Changxin’s household, he was caught up in a treason case. He has been charged with plotting rebellion, a crime that could get him executed several times over. The sound of iron armor and leather boots scraping against the ground comes from outside. More than a dozen Qin soldiers charge in, looking furious. “It’ll be noon soon. Bring them all out!”
