Word has spread throughout the cultivation world that the Sect Master of Tianyan, the top sect, and the Sect Master of the Stargazing Sect are bitter enemies.
Little do they know, Jun Huaixu, the Sect Master of Tianyan at the center of the gossip, points at himself and asks, “Me? Are you sure you mean us?”
And so, for no apparent reason, this young sect master develops a deep grudge against the mysterious sect master, swearing that if they ever meet, he’ll skin him alive.
The two had nothing to do with each other, until every disciple under Jun Huaixu failed the Heartless Dao. In a fury, he storms into the Stargazing Sect.
“You scoundrel, come out! You ruined my disciples’ resolve in the Dao. You owe me an explanation!”
When the Stargazing Sect’s masked leader, Helian Yu, comes out, this is the scene he finds: a handsome man with a treasured sword, trying to chop down the sect’s signboard.
By an unexpected turn of events, Helian Yu’s true face is revealed. Jun Huaixu freezes, then returns home that very night to abandon his Heartless Dao cultivation method and forcibly switch to dual cultivation. Then he clings to Helian Yu and refuses to let go.
“I don’t care. I’ve fallen for you, so you have to cultivate with me.”
