Sichuan-Chongqing firecracker × innocent Xinjiang traffic cop | Dialect-filled romance | Secret identity revealed | Every second she pretends, he laughs to himself

Who would have thought that Jin City's number-one firecracker would pretend to be a sweet girl for a whole month just to win over a traffic cop?

Li Doudou is the Sichuan-Chongqing firecracker herself: fair-skinned, gorgeous, long-legged, and always ready with a “Niao ni mama bie ge.” When her best friend got dumped, she floored it all the way to Xinjiang, only to get caught speeding.

The traffic cop who pulled her over was over six feet tall, with light brown eyes and a uniform that showed off the faint lines of his shoulders and back. Best of all, he stammered when he spoke, his ears red all the way to his neck.

Li Doudou switched to a cutesy voice in a flash: “Officer~ I didn't mean to~”

Li Shi'an's hand shook as he wrote the ticket. “I-it's okay. Be careful.”

She thought she was the hunter, never realizing that this innocent young cop had seen through her from the start.

Later, she asked him, “When did you figure out I was pretending?”

His ears turned red again. “From the beginning. When you called that cow a ‘guizi’erzi.’”

“...Then why didn't you say anything?”

“I was waiting for you to come clean yourself.”

Good heavens! She'd been pretending for so long, and it turned out he liked her just the way she was?

Li Doudou burst into tears. “I've been putting on an act for over half a year! My voice is about to smoke from all that cutesy talking!”

Li Shi'an drew her head against his chest, his voice muffled. “You don't have to pretend with me. This is the real you I like.”

No more pretending. Time to come clean.

I'm a Sichuan-Chongqing firecracker. Take me or leave me!
