NBA 98: From the Start, I Set the Four Shooting Guards Ablaze

An old-school NBA basketball novel, a traditional basketball web novel. System? Golden finger? Not a chance! I, Lin Hao, can get stronger just by dreaming.

The story takes place after the 1998–99 season, when Jordan has retired and the Four Shooting Guards are rising. If that's not your thing, don't read!

The protagonist's strength grows at a steady pace. This struggling author thinks the pacing is just right!

I'll do my best to recreate basketball games from that era, bring back the feel of classic basketball novels, and make sure everyone has a great time!

A short introduction:

Lin Hao, blessed with top-tier talent, is pushed aside by Zhang Lin, a connected player on the national youth team!

All because Zhang Lin's mother is a wealthy woman with powerful connections.

In a fit of anger, Lin Hao quits the national youth team.

Encouraged by his teacher, Jiang Xingquan, he sets off alone for America to make it in the NBA.

In 1998, NBA labor negotiations collapse, and the league shuts down.

Fortunately, Lin Hao has some luck on his side. He meets Penny Hardaway, who is recovering from an injury, and Old Joe, a kind-hearted security guard.

With Hardaway's encouragement, Lin Hao climbs step by step until he reaches the very top.
