Once the military's top special forces ace and a crack shot codenamed “Hawkeye,” Lu Ming is framed by a treacherous enemy. He suffers a grave injustice, loses the woman he loves, and even his young daughter vanishes without a trace.
At the end of his rope, badly wounded and permanently disabled, he lies low in the turbulent city of Beicheng.
Beicheng's factions are deeply entrenched, and danger lurks beneath the surface. Taking the alias “Lone Wolf,” Lu Ming enters the underground fighting circuit with a cane. With nothing but his skill, he crushes the reigning champion in twenty seconds and throws the whole city into turmoil.
Some are impressed by his ruthlessness and ability, and offer to help him uncover the truth.
An old man scraping by as a scavenger is the only warmth he finds in his darkest hour. One simple expression of concern gives him the strength to keep moving forward under his burden.
One sniper rifle, one broken body, one heart gripped by an unshakable resolve.
He advances one careful step at a time, going from the underground fighting circuit to the heart of a power struggle. He swears to tear through layer upon layer of conspiracy, expose the mastermind, find his missing daughter, and bring every evildoer to the fairest possible justice.
From the depths of Beicheng, he fights his way to the final truth.
Even a broken body can defy fate. One lone rifle can shatter the deadlock!
