Honkai: Star Rail: I Got Alchemy from the Start, Yet Nearly Starved to Death

“The early chapters move slowly, and alchemy doesn’t appear much at first.” Shi Lin accidentally transmigrates to the Xianzhou Luofu and nearly starves to death. Just before he passes out, his golden finger awakens: the Myriad Worlds Lottery System. But his doctor only ever prescribes “drinking more hot water, or maybe a bottle of glucose.” His savior is a champion slacker who finds new ways to slack off every day. His business partner’s way of discussing payment is: “Can I pay for this ability in installments? I’ll put down thirty percent first.” Shi Lin: “Are all the people on the Xianzhou Luofu like this?” Tingyun: “We’re running a perfectly respectable business.” Qingque: “You’ll get used to it. Besides, you can’t run away anyway.” Shi Lin sorts his IOUs by date and realizes that his entire survival record on the Luofu is written on the sticky notes people use to chase him for money. Then one day, the System pops up a message: 【Host’s account balance has exceeded five figures. Congratulations! How could this System not have one?】 Money comes in little by little, and he gets to know people little by little. He starts by mooching meals, then begins treating others, but there’s always one seat missing at the card table.
