Wasteland Apocalypse: I Farm to Support My Frail Husband

The year 3050, the fortieth year of the apocalypse.

The disaster caused by a meteorite impact has transformed the world beyond recognition. Humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. Qing Ya, an orphan at Base Nine, has spent four years being mocked as a “good-for-nothing wood-type.” Her biggest dream is to eat a bowl of fluffy white rice.

An official notice from the base pushes her into a contractual marriage with Pei An, a former genius ability user whose mental powers have been damaged. He is pale and frail, and his only redeeming quality is that he can cook.

His older brother, Pei Ji, is the youngest dual-type A-rank ability user at Base Nine, a cold-faced King of Hell and an incurable younger-brother fanatic. He casually throws in fifty acres of fertile land as her “dowry.”

Qing Ya: ...So am I here to farm, or to watch you two flaunt your relationship?

From wasteland overrun with weeds to fertile fields of golden grain, from a marriage of convenience to a bond that ties them together, three “incomplete” people join forces on the blighted earth to build a farm they can call home.

Apocalypse farming, warm and healing.

“As long as the seeds are still in the soil, there’s always hope for tomorrow.”
