The Nation’s Village Doctor: Healing the World from a Mountain Village

Traditional Chinese medicine is in decline, while Western medicine dominates.

Lu Nanxing, an heir to the Cold Damage School, resigned in a fit of anger and returned to Yunshui Village, deep in the mountains.

His days were spent gathering herbs, fishing, neutering Big Yellow the cat, and treating the widow at the village entrance for back pain.

Everyone thought he was just a barefoot village doctor living off others, never knowing that the people his grandfather had casually saved years ago were all powerful regional leaders and veteran military commanders!

When unscrupulous overseas medical corporations set out to monopolize healthcare in Xia Country,

Lu Nanxing, who had been living in seclusion in a small mountain village, finally drew his silver needles.

A lesser doctor cures terminal illnesses; a great doctor cuts down capital.

Without taking a single step beyond the village, he used the tiny Sanqi Hall as a chessboard and stirred up a storm in political and business circles.

“As long as I, Lu Nanxing, am alive, traditional Chinese medicine will be the best in the world!”
