The Empress Ordered My Death: The Sky Screen Reveals I'm the Savior

The Great Yan Dynasty has been established, and peace reigns across the land.

Su Chen, Grand Preceptor and Guardian of the State, has been impeached to the death by the entire court for monopolizing power, massacring countless people, oppressing the Six Kingdoms, and throwing the government into chaos!

To quell the fury of the people, the aloof and peerless Empress Luo Qinghan personally issued an imperial decree: “Bestow poisoned wine, execute his three clans, and hang his body at the city gate!”

Su Chen picked up the poisoned wine, overjoyed inside. “I've kept my head down for ten years, taking the blame for this illiterate empress the whole time. At last, I can fake my death and clock out!”

But just as he was about to drink the poison, the heavens trembled, and the [Sky Screen of Myriad Worlds] suddenly appeared!

The sky screen began forcibly livestreaming the past ten years of Su Chen's life!

Only then did the people of the realm see the truth:

What they called burying surrendered soldiers alive was actually Su Chen secretly moving one hundred thousand prisoners away to reclaim wasteland, saving their lives!

What they called monopolizing military power was Su Chen protecting the empress from countless overt and covert attacks to prevent her maternal relatives from meddling in government!

What they called bullying men and women and embezzling military pay was Su Chen selling off his family estate to gather provisions for the soldiers on the border!

When they saw Su Chen endure a thousand arrows through his body and poison seeping into his bones while testing poison for the empress, vomiting blood in agony night after night...

The entire court dropped to its knees, weeping bitterly and slapping themselves hard across the face!

The remnants of the Six Kingdoms threw down their weapons and frantically kowtowed toward the capital!

The peerless empress Luo Qinghan's eyes turned bloodshot. She shattered the poisoned wine with one sword strike, clutched Su Chen tightly, and sobbed in despair: “Su Chen! I forbid you to die! Give me back your life!!”

Su Chen: ??? Sky screen, you absolute rascal! I was just about to clock out. Why expose me now?!
