On a stormy night, Lu Chen opens the door to find his family murdered. The police hastily close the case as a home invasion, while those in power quietly erase the real culprit's name. After lying low for ten years, he tempers his hatred into a blade and methodically eliminates his enemies with extreme brutality: the mastermind behind the massacre, the forensic examiner who gave false testimony, and the killer who carried it out. On the night he avenges his family, he stands before their graves, only to see the news filled with countless criminals who escaped justice, still laughing without a care. Lu Chen dons black and becomes a “dark enforcer,” operating beyond the law to hunt down evildoers whose guilt is proven but who use money and influence to evade punishment. Su Wan, a criminal-investigation officer, is ordered to track down a string of murders. She has no idea that her beloved boyfriend, an auto mechanic, is the very culprit she is doing everything she can to catch. Pursuit and protection, suspicion and trust, justice and vigilantism: the two cautiously test one another at the boundary between darkness and light, until the truth puts their love on trial.
Either forget the blood feud and become a lamb to be slaughtered, or become a judge
Nice! Really well written!
Alas, there are always things that prevent me from reading quietly, so I have to leave a footprint to prove that I have been here. . . . . If you have a chance, continue watching. . . .
I like this kind of novel. The author concentrates on writing the novel without wasting words. The plot of the novel is compact and the plot and emotional description are naturally blended. It is close to life and not idle.
The language is concise and the plot is equal and will delight every reader...
