[Chuunibyou + power fantasy + spiritual qi revival + no romance + strongest female lead]
[I have a jianghu dream, too.]
Shen Nianqing has spent twenty-three years as a rich family's beloved daughter, only to suddenly learn she's a fake heiress.
"You're nothing but the wrong baby, switched at birth. The real daughter of the Chu family is back, so you need to get out."
Her parents are cold toward her, her older brother and sister despise her, and everyone curses her.
People expect Shen Nianqing to burst into tears and cling to them, but instead, she pulls out two contracts severing all ties.
Leave the Chu family? What a wonderful deal!
After signing the contracts, Shen Nianqing dusts herself off and leaves at once.
Back at the Shen family home, she lies in bed when a sigh suddenly rings out.
Time and space tear open, and clouds of mist billow.
She sees a scene from an age that does not belong to this era.
In an ancestral courtyard from ten thousand years ago, the family founder stands in ethereal robes. His gaze seems to cross the river of time and land directly on her.
"At last, I've found you, my descendant."
The old ancestor says spiritual qi is reviving, and the world will soon fall into ruin.
"Within a year, I want you to reach the pinnacle of cultivation."
Shen Nianqing: "What?"
Even the donkeys on the production team get a break, don't they?
From then on...
Shen Nianqing emerges from ten thousand years of history, her long sword held before her as she stands between countless refugees and a flood of monstrous beasts.
"You beasts, make way at once!"
