After I Transmigrated into a Book, the Broken System Forced Me: Kiss Him or Throw a Tantrum

Xu Lu transmigrates into a book as a cannon-fodder female character, and, as expected, she is doomed to die a tragic death. To stay alive, she keeps her distance from her fiancé, Xie Yu, who poisons her in the original story. She promises not to bother him, cling to him, or fall in love with him, asking only that they stay out of each other’s way. Just as she diligently follows the farming-novel plot and works hard to build her wealth, the backlash from the lousy System kicks in... With no other choice, she has to go back on her word and pounce on Xie Yu... Side Story: After Xie Yu, a reborn man, successfully takes revenge, rises to power, and becomes emperor: A busybody asks Xu Lu: As a modern woman, can you accept Xie Yu having a harem? Xu Lu: Compared with leaving him, what does a harem matter? Busybody: The imperial palace is so lonely. Can you really bear it? Xu Lu gently wipes the corner of her eye: It’s fine. If I really can’t take it, I’ll secretly keep a few male favorites... From behind the screen, a bone-chilling sneer: “Xu Lu, are you looking to die!”
