Southern Ming: I Have a Revival System to Rebuild the Great Ming

In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, Li Zicheng captures Beijing, and the Chongzhen Emperor hangs himself on Coal Hill. The legitimate Ming line comes to an end. The Qing army seizes the opportunity to enter through the passes, sweeping across the Central Plains and slaughtering the people. Members of the Ming imperial family and surviving officials flee south, establishing the Hongguang, Longwu, and Shaowu regimes in succession. Beset by factional infighting, warlords clinging to their own power, and a corrupt and incompetent bureaucracy, each regime falls within just a few years.

In the first year of Yongli, the Prince of Gui, Zhu Youlang, ascends the throne in Zhaoqing, establishing the Yongli regime, the last government of the Southern Ming. By then, the Qing army has captured Ganzhou, and its cavalry is bearing down on Zhaoqing. At court, those advocating flight have the upper hand, the local warlords refuse to follow orders, and the city is short of soldiers, generals, and provisions. With the people losing heart, the Southern Ming faces certain ruin. When the original Zhu Youlang hears that the Qing army is approaching, terror overwhelms him and he faints on the spot. That is when the modern soul Lin Chen transmigrates into his body, activates the Revival System, and begins his heaven-defying journey to change his fate.
