The System Ran Away, So I Became the Mentor to Sixteen Ming Emperors

I had just transmigrated to the first year of the Hongwu reign when the Immortality System bound to me promptly ran off.

It left behind just one warning: “Don't let Zhu Yuanzhang find out you can't die.”

I hid in a ruined temple, gnawing on tree bark, only to be caught by Emperor Zhu himself while he was traveling incognito.

The Embroidered Uniform Guard's blade was already at my throat.

I suddenly grabbed some yellow mud from the ground and rolled it into a pill. “Your Majesty, this humble Daoist has been waiting here for you for eight hundred years.”
