Great Tang: From the Start, I Tricked Li Er into Signing a Contract of Indenture

In the early Zhenguan era, Fang Yiai watches his father, Fang Xuanling, work unpaid overtime for Li Shimin day after day until he's exhausted and coughing up blood. He's had enough! “Li Lao'er dares to exploit my dad for free? Then I'll turn the Tang Dynasty into my own sweatshop and exploit the emperor too!” After awakening the 【Strongest Construction Foreman System】, Fang Yiai sets up a hardcore development zone outside Chang'an, combining a bathhouse with an arms factory. One day, two merchants calling themselves “Old Li” and “Old Changsun” pay a discreet visit in plain clothes and accidentally break a “priceless glass cup.” Faced with a sky-high bill, the emperor of the Tang Dynasty and the sitting chancellor are tricked by Fang Yiai into signing contracts of indenture! From then on, life in the Tang Dynasty takes a bizarre turn. Changsun Wuji becomes the head of security, stopping his colleagues from entering every day. Li Shimin becomes a star bathhouse attendant. Fang Yiai lounges in his grand tutor's chair every day, shouting, “Old Li, you're not scrubbing hard enough! The current emperor must have a hole in his head. What kind of achievement is squeezing the court ministers every day?” Li Er trembles with rage, but when he sees the warehouses packed with potatoes, fine steel, and cannons, he can only grit his teeth and endure it. “Fang Yiai! Give me a raise, and I'll keep scrubbing!” Then one day, Fang Xuanling comes to see his son after work and stares in horror at Li Shimin, wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and vigorously scrubbing a customer's back. He drops to his knees on the spot. “Rebellious son! What have you done?!” Fang Yiai grins. “Take a break, Dad. Watch me earn every last coin in the Tang treasury!”
