The Three-Year Term Is Up, Mr. Cheng. Please Sign

Everyone thought Shi Nian'an was just the most obedient ornament in the Cheng family.

That is, until she tore up the agreement, threw away her wedding ring, and walked out of the Cheng family home with her suitcase, never looking back.

Five years later, the Milanese designer "Ange" bursts onto the scene, and the entire fashion world is guessing at her identity. Cheng Yanqiu sits in the front row at her show, watching as she takes off her mask. On her left hand, she still wears the simple platinum band he gave her all those years ago.

"Shi Nian'an."

She turns back and smiles. "Mr. Cheng, long time no see."

Only then does he realize that the woman who used to tidy away his stomach medicine in the study is long gone. The person standing before him now is someone far beyond his reach.
