Shen Zhi, I’ll Take Care of You for the Rest of Your Life

At her engagement banquet, Shen Zhi overhears her fiancé on the phone: “I may have mistaken her for someone else, but Shen Zhi is wonderful too.”

Only then does she learn that Gu Xingzhou pursued her, doted on her, and stood against the whole world for her only because she looked like someone from his memories.

Shen Zhi takes off her ring and returns every gift. “I may be poor, but I have my dignity.”

Later, Gu Xingzhou searches through all his old belongings and finally realizes that Shen Zhi was the one who saved him all along. He searches for her like a madman, only to be turned away at the door. “Who do you really love, her, or the benefactor you imagined?”

A story of mistaken identity, a man’s desperate quest to win back his wife, and two people finally choosing each other.
