Violent Debt Collectors? I Awakened an Overpowered System and Hit Back

After I was targeted by violent debt collectors and gained the System, I struck back by smashing the predatory company. In the process, I was “recruited” by the Bureau of Supernatural Ability Management and gradually became their sharpest blade. But my true new life began when I joined Squad Z. Here, I found comrades I could trust with my back. We are one, and my life is bound to theirs. We fight the darkness entrenched in the city, publicly humiliating that sanctimonious director and ripping off his mask on a livestream. But we soon discover that corrupt elites are not the only enemy. He is, in fact, one of the simpler ones. When a beast tide capable of swallowing the city surges in without warning, and an unfathomable wormhole splits open outside the city to spew forth unknown horrors, only then do we realize that the world is plunging into an even deeper darkness. My squad and I will clasp one another’s hands and fight this world as it spirals into madness, for the wavering lights behind us and everything worth protecting. From one person’s revenge, to a group’s shared survival, to a battle for the fate of the entire world. This is our story.
