Rick, a military enthusiast, slips and transmigrates to a parallel world during the War of Resistance.
From the start, he runs into three Japanese soldiers watching him like hawks.

Armed with a magical camera that can copy anything he photographs, he establishes the Ghost-Fearing Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Force in Duanjiagou.
Turning himself into a battlefield reporter, he photographs Japanese military equipment and supplies the Eighth Route Army. He’s determined to make the Japanese pay dearly!
Duan Peng: “Stick with the commander, and you’ll eat nine meals in three days, with meat at every one.”
Rick: “Don’t just eat meat. Have some vegetables too. A balanced meal is best.”
Li Kaipao: “Battalion commander, bring my Italian cannon up!”
Rick: “An Italian cannon? That thing’s obsolete. I’ve got a Type 91 105 mm howitzer. Want it?”
Ding Zhaqiao and Kong Guoyin: “Comrade Rick, if you’ve got good stuff, don’t forget our New First (Second) Regiment!”
The Brigade Commander: “Li Yunlong, congratulations on getting rich.”
Rick: “Brigade commander, just say the word and I’ll get you the equipment for an elite division and an armored force.”
In the early stages, he focuses on building up his own forces and fighting small-scale battles. The larger battles begin with the Battle of Cangyunling.
